Ms. Julie has spent the past 15 years working in education. She holds her master’s degree in special education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. However, what truly sets Julie apart is her genuine passion for nurturing emotional intelligence, teaching conflict resolution, and encouraging the beautiful art of sharing among children. By focusing on these essential skills, Julie creates an environment where our little ones can thrive, learn, and grow together. It fills her heart with immense joy to witness the children putting these valuable skills into action and resolving conflicts on their own.

Outside of her role as Happy Valley’s Director, Julie is a proud mother of four amazing children. When she’s not pouring her heart into Happy Valley you might spot Julie out and about, exploring the breathtaking wonders of Colorado. As an avid runner and lover of the great outdoors, she finds solace and inspiration in nature.

Ms. Alisha is one of Happy Valley’s Assistant Directors and is also our Curriculum Coordinator. This is her sixth year at Happy Valley and her second year as an Assistant Director. She has a Bachelors Degree from Regis University in Elementary Education and has been teaching young children for 10 years. Outside of Happy Valley, Ms. Alisha loves to read, spend time with her friends and family, and watch Disney movies.

Ms. Melissa is Happy Valley’s other Assistant Director and is also a Lead Teacher. This is Ms. Melissa’s third year with Happy Valley and her first as an Assistant Director. Her passion is teaching and she’s been at it for over 35 years! Ms. Melissa has her AAS in Early Childhood Education as well as a director’s certificate. She loves learning new things as much as teaching. Outside of Happy Valley, Ms. Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter and granddaughter, being outdoors, and being crafty.
